Although the brown theme might have been cool in the 80's I thought I would slowly transform the interior to a more modern and neutral grey and black color scheme. Painting the front door trim pieces was in order. What was a bit upsetting is the original plastic color was actually black and dipped in brown. Here are some pictures of the door handles, armrests, vents and the front table bracket.

This is 3 coats of primer and 4 coats of black matte krylon paint

Here they are back on the door. Future upgrades will be new door panels and cover them in a dark grey fabric. I will also paint the door latch black

Total cost for this was under $20 for the primer/paint/sandpaper
